Build time!! This week we've got lots of new content and reworks for the Regent as well as Act 2 (including a new boss!!), along with tons of bug fixes and balance changes as usual!

Regent:
- Added Tyranny card
- At the start of your turn, add a random (upgraded) Decree to your hand.
- Added Decree of Plenty card

- Removed Globe Head Duo encounter
- Buffed Lone Globe Head encounter and made it a normal encounter; orbs now trigger at the end of player's turn
- Updated Egg Layer combat
Ironclad:
- Changed Dual Wield card: now Exhausts
- Changed Entrench card:
- Upgrade now increases Block gained from Double -> Triple
- Buffed Ghostly Armor card: Block gain increased from 10(13) -> 11(15)
- Changed Sever Soul:
- Damage increased from 16(20) -> 20(25)
- Buffed Taunt card: Block gain increased from 6(9) -> 8(11)
Silent:
- Reworked Expose card:
- Cost changed to 0
- No longer applies Weak
- Vulnerable gain increased from 1(2) -> 2(3)
- Buffed Fan of Knives cards: increased Shiv gain from 2(3) -> 3(4)
- Snakebite buffed: Poison application increased from 6(7) -> 6(8)
- Reworked Assassinate card:
- “Deal 12 damage. When you discard this card, increase its damage by 6(9) this combat. Exhaust.”
- Reworked Quicken card:
- “The first time you discard a card each turn, draw 1(2) cards.”
- Reworked Shadowmeld card
- “Double(Triple) your Block gain this turn.”
Regent:
- Starting deck changed: Gather Light card (now Common) has been replaced with Venerate card (now a Starter)
- Buffed Crush Under card: base Vulnerable application increased from 1 -> 2
- Changed Decree of Entropy card: is now a zero-cost token generated by Tyranny
- Changed Decree of Stasis card: is now a zero-cost token generated by Tyranny and its upgrade now Retains rather than reducing cost
- Changed Dying Star card:
- Upgraded damage increased from 23 -> 25
- Buffed Eclipse card: cost lowered from 3 -> 2
- Buffed Eternal Solstice card: Strength/Dexterity increased from 3(4) -> 5(7)
- Buffed Glitterstream card: base Weak application increased from 1 -> 2
- Changed Know Thy Place card: cost is now 0
- Changed Monarch's Gaze card:
- Upgrading no longer increases Strength, but reduces energy cost by 1
- Changed Prophesize card:
- Rarity upgraded from Common -> Uncommon
- Nerfed Kingly Kick card: damage decreased from 8(12) per star -> 6(9) per star
- Buffed Solar Strike card: base damage increased from 6 -> 8
- Changed Spectrum Shift card: rarity increased from Uncommon -> Rare
- Reworked Hypernova card:
- “At the end of your turn, lose all stars. Deal 3(4) damage to ALL enemies

- Reworked Minion Guards card:
- “Gain 5(6) Block. Whenever you play a card containing "Minion", increase the Block of this card by 2(3) this combat.”
- Reworked Royal Corona:
- “Choose a card in hand. It costs 0 energy and 0 stars this turn. Exhaust. (Exhaust removed on upgrade)”
- Reworked Starry relic: stars granted changed from 1 star per turn -> 3 stars at start of combat
Colorless Cards:
- Buffed Dramatic Entrance card: damage increased from 8(12) -> 15(20)
- Buffed Flash of Steel card: damage increased from 3(6) -> 5(8)
- Buffed Finesse card: Block gain increased from 2(3) -> 4(7)
- Changed Purity: now Retains
Ancients:
- Deprecated Vlad's Blood option
- Changed Patience card: is now Ethereal
Enemies:
- Buffed Cubex Construct
- Blast attack changed from 5x3 -> 25
- Strength gain increased from 1 -> 3
- Reworked Giant Louse:
- Web Cannon now does 14 damage and applies 2 Weak
- Curl now grants 6 Strength, renamed to Curl and Grow
- Acid Dust power removed, now is an attack that deals 5x2 damage and applies 2 Vulnerable and 2 Frail
- Moveset is now always Web Cannon -> Curl and Grow -> Acid Dust -> Web
Cannon
- Nerfed Flail Knight: HP lowered from 92-96 -> 76-80
- Nerfed Spectral Knight: no longer Exhausts your cards on hit, just through his debuff
- Changed Flyconid:
- Now applies Vulnerable instead of Weak
- Changed Magiknight: Ram now does 15 damage instead of 12 and no longer Shatters
- Nerfed Medium Slimes: now give 1 less Slimed card (i.e. Twig gives 1, Leaf gives 2)
- Slimed Status card now draws a card when played
- Nerfed Mytes: Toxic move now adds less toxic cards, decreased from 3 -> 2
- Changed Toxic Status card:
- Now can be played for 1 energy
- Is no longer Ethereal, but gained Exhaust
- Nerfed Rock Bowlbug: HP lowered from 52-61 -> 42-51
- Nerfed Silk Bowlbug: HP lowered from 47-51 -> 37-41
- Slumber Party encounter now has the Slumbering Beetle in the back of the fight instead of the front and the type of Bowlbugs that can be encountered in this fight has been adjusted
- Spiked Status card added: “Deals 5 damage if in your hand at end of turn.”
- Spiny Toad reworked.
- Tongue Lash damage increased from 15 -> 18 and Slimed cards given decreased from 3 -> 1
- Moveset is now always Protrude Spikes -> Spike Explosion -> Tongue Lash -> Tongue Lash -> Protrude Spikes
- Changed Thieving Hopper:
- Moveset is no longer random
- No longer gains Block when it flutters
- Now falls to the ground and gets stunned if they take enough hits
- Changed Vine Shambler: now applies Vulnerable instead of Weak
Events:
- Changed Living Cocoon event: options now cost less HP
- Added asset for Vlad’s Pendant
- Art updates for Self-Help Book, The Trial, and The Trial's Accused events
- Added assets for Big Mushroom and Fragrant Mushroom relics
- Added Attack, Block, and Block broken SFX
- Added Death Stinger song
- Cards are no longer hoverable while your mouse is held down, even if card play is canceled
- Map drawings are now cleared after entering next floor
- Player now dies at the end of a run
- Targeting for single-target cards no longer cancels when you release the mouse. Instead, the card remains "sticky". Left-clicking on an enemy selects the target. Left clicking on nothing, or right clicking, stops targeting.
- Updated Card playzone logic
- The play zone threshold has been raised
- Dragging a card up 100 pixels begins targeting, regardless of whether the card enters the play zone or not
- A message now appears if player attempts to play a card when they cannot (i.e. not enough energy)
- Added the Enable Tutorials, Combat Basics, Energy Still Remaining, and Still Have Cards to Play FTUE
- Added "peek" button when selecting a card from your hand for effects like Survivor (other in-combat card selection screens will get this button in the next build)
- Added unknown monster/tresaure/shop to run history
- Adjusted Block position on health bar, icon size, and font size
- Animated relic container out of the way so that it doesn't collide with options screen
- Adjusted aspect ratio for combat backgrounds
- Back button is now bottom-left-aligned and Back and Confirm buttons now handle window size changes in real time without issue
- Added bespoke energy count outlines for characters
- Dealt with relic hovertip alignment for relics on the right side
- Death quote is now green if the run ended in a victory
- Exhaust pile now anchors to the bottom right of the screen and adjusts for window size changes
- Added feedback for when you try to add a potion when you are already full
- Added Merchant dialogue when you buy/fail to buy something
- Made a minor update to card bundle coloring so that the frontmost color is white
- Quest cardsnow have a unique frame asset
- Added Rainbow in main menu if it’s June
- Stubbed out FTUE container logic
- The text color on the health bar now changes to indicate if the creature will die next turn from Poison or Doom
- Thieving Hopper's health bar now disappears when he escapes
- Updated room history hovertip to display current gold in a room
- Players are now given a unique alphanumeric ID for anonymity and metrics purposes
- Revised wording on Photon Blade, Particle Wall, and Visions of Grandeur cards to be clearer
- Minor wording improvements to Living Cocoon event
- Added missing newlines to many cards
- Gave Regent unique character select screen text
- Perilous Prospects event wording improvements
- Swipe power on Thieving Hoppers now correctly says the stolen "card" is returned to your hand
Defect:
- Aggregate card now properly floors its energy gain amount instead of rounding
- Hyperbeam now includes Focus hovertip
Silent:
- Fixed extra space in Burst card description
- The Sly keyword now renders properly in the Hand Trick selection screen
- When you have Accelerant and an enemy has exactly 2 Poison, their Poison now properly triggers twice
Necrobinder:
- Lightning orbs no longer hit Necrobinder if Osty is alive
Regent:
- Fixed softlock on Decree of Entropy card transforming curses
- Pull no longer has Gravity hovertip
Relics & Potions:
- Book of Five Rings and Pael's Wing relics now flash
- Fixed Pocketwatch relic hovertip not showing up
- Milk potion now no longer has Strength hovertip
- Molten Egg relic now takes priority over Silver Crucible relic when an attack is added to your deck
- Pen Nib relic no longer has block hovertip
Ancients:
- Fixed softlocked caused by Hoarder when winning a run
- Vlad's Pendant now properly gives you 4 Decays instead of 3
Enemies:
- Fixed softlock when you kill an Axebot with poison
- Fixed Spiny Toad being incorrectly spiny after 4th turn
- Enemy death VFX now plays properly
- Enemy scale is no longer off when they dissolve
- Personal Hive now properly puts Dazed randomly into your draw pile
- Thieving Hopper now correctly leaves at the end of combat
Events:
- Updated Bone Tea choice in Tea Master event to reflect new behavior
Misc:
- It is no longer possible to end your turn while a card selection screen is open
- All "set energy cost to zero" effects now also set star cost to zero
- Attempted to fix softlock with end of turn button
- Byrdpip now keeps their hair between saves (very important)
- Fixed softlock when afflictions are applied to copied cards
- Fixed card text not properly resizing in some instances
- Fixed character playing attack animations when they should be playing cast animations
- Fixed looping SFX breaking if there are multiple of the same loop in progress
- Fixed typo in dampen banter
- Fixed typo with Orb Generator
- Game over screen properly shows up if you abandon run from the map room
- Player character now correctly says line if they both have no energy and cannot play cards for another reason
- Poison is no longer affected by Block
- Seal of Gold can no longer give you negative gold
- Set max orbs to 10
- Toothed no longer has Vulnerable hovertip
