ANOTHA ONE. This week's build is bringing some big Ancient glow ups: more content, choices, reworks, AND the Ancients no longer offer boss relics... but that's just because a brand new Ancient, the Hoarder, has been living up to his name and hoarding them all! He can hook you up with some of those classic relics, don't worry. Also, Act 3 has seen a big overhaul with lots of new enemy encounters and redesigns, so we're excited to hear your thoughts! ✨

- Pitch Black Oil Tezcatara relic - “The next time you rest, heal to full HP and gain 15 Max HP. Afterwards you may not rest again.”
- Added Seal of Gold Tezcatara relic - “Obtain 777 gold. When you enter a new room, lose 20 Gold.”
- Added Tezcatara’s Might card - “Gain 5(7) Strength. Permanently increase this card's cost by 1.”
- Added Vlad’s Immortality card - “Lose 6(5) HP. Gain 1 Intangible. Exhaust.”
- Added Vlad’s Pendant relic - “Upon pickup, double your Max HP.”
- Added Vlad's Coin relic - “On pickup, obtain 555 Gold. Lose 1 HP for every 10 Gold you spend.”
- Reworked Vlad’s Blood relic - “When you kill a non-minion enemy, gain 9 max HP.”
- Updated Vlad’s Earring relic - “All card rewards and cards in the shop are Rare.”
- Updated Vlad’s Rose choice - “Add 1 Enthralled (Unplayable. While in hand, cards cost 1 additional [E]. Cannot be removed. ) to your deck. Obtain Vlad's Rose ("Gain 1 Energy at the start of each turn.").”
- Added Favored Pick Vlad enchantment - “Choose an Attack in your deck, Enchant it with Favored (x2 attack damage). Enchant all other Attacks with Scorned (x0.75 attack).”
- Added Pael’s Strike choice to Pael - “Add 3 Pael's Strike to your Deck.”
- Added Pael’s Flesh relic - “Whenever you Rest, choose 1 card in your deck to Transform.”
- Added Pael’s Tears relic - “Whenever you Rest, gain 5 Max HP.”
- Added Patience Pael card - "Innate. At the end of combat gain an additional Card Reward. Exhaust."
- Reworked Pael's Blob relic - “Whenever you are offered a Relic at a Reward Screen, you may gain 222 gold instead.”
- Reworked Pael's Claw relic - “Whenever you Rest, upgrade 2 random cards in your deck.”
Silent:
- Changed Concentrate card: Discard 3(2) to gain 2 Energy -> Discard 3 to gain 1(2) Energy
- Changed Hand Trick card: rarity increased from Common -> Uncommon
- Changed Uncanny Dodge card:
- Rarity decreased from Uncommon -> Common
Regent:
- Nerfed Celestial Might card: damage decreased from 22(27) -> 20(25)
- Changed Decisions Decisions card: now exhausts
- Buffed Pilebunker card: damage increased from 25(30) -> 30(35)
- Reworked Decree of Entropy card: now transforms all cards in hand and, if upgraded, upgrades them as well
Relics & Potions:
- Nerfed Bone Tea relic: now only affects the next Rest Site instead of the next 2
- Buffed Buried Seed relic from 3 combats -> 4
Enemies:
- Reworked knight encounters:
- 2 knights encounter is now 3 knights
- Added additional hard encounter with 2 knights and 1 lieutenant
- Multiples of the same knight can no longer repeat in any encounter type
- Reworked Flail Knight:
- Ram no longer Shatters cards, and cannot be repeated twice
- War Chant move added: adds 2 strength, cannot be repeated
- Breaker move removed
- Enough power removed
- Changed Frog Knight:
- Only charges once and when below half HP
- Starts combat with Tongue Lash
- Move AI reworked
- Reworked Magi Knight:
- Dampen power changed: "Downgrade all your cards. When Magi Knight is slain, return your cards to normal."
- Now always uses Dampen, then Power Shield, then Magic Bomb
- Reworked Socket and Rocket.
- Defend and Ready now applies 5 Strength
- Dialogue lines should repeat less when Fire is used
- If you survive 3 turns, they have something to say about it
- Reworked Turret Operator encounter:
- Turret Operator now repeats two moves:
- First move is "Loading": gains 5 Block
- Next move is "Unload!": deals 6x5 damage
- Heavy Barricade renamed to Living Shield
- Living Shield health reduced from 100 -> 70
- Living Shield now deals 15 damage every turn
- Rampart now grants 25 shield to Turret Operator every turn instead of redirecting damage
- Living Shield no longer has Unflinching
- Changed Phrog Parasite: now inflicts Parasite 3 onto cards, but only afflicts 3 cards at a time
- Changed Workbug swarm encounter:
- Now all 3 bugs will not attack at the same time
Events:
- Changed Cursed Choice: now no longer gives Writhe, gives Doubt instead
- Changed Sown enchantment: now takes longer to Sprout, increased from 3 combats -> 5
- Changed Wellspring: now is an Overgrowth only event
Misc:
- Neow's Apothecary option no longer gives the player a Potion Belt relic
- White Beast Statue relic can now be obtained only from Neow
- Added Frog Knight Animations
- Added custom Ancient node art
- Added new assets for run history screen nodes
- Updated left and right gold arrow button assets
- Added StS1 Ancient Tea Set relic asset
- Added placeholder asset for Centennial Puzzle relic
- Added placeholder asset for Bound Phylactery relic

- Adjusted hitboxes for Ironclad, Necrobinder, and Act 1 enemies

- Updated infinite HP bar a bit to differentiate it more from Doom
- Updated single card view screen and made gold arrows 28% larger
- Made various tweaks to hover and press behavior for end turn button
- VSync option now supports Adaptive mode
- When a relic has been used up, its hovertip now displays "This relic has been used up."
- Fixed Texcatara’s Ember wording
- Made another fix attempt for pronouns etc in death quotes
- Implemented possessive adjectives and fixed up death and Abandon messages in run history screen
- Infested Automaton's second option now specifies that the transformed cards are random
- Renamed enemies: Flying Mushroom, Furry Worm Crawler, Mite, Orb Plant, Egg Layer, Giant Louse, Burrowing Bug, and Workbug
- Improved Thorns wording clarity
Defect:
- Channeling orbs with no orb slots no longer results in a card hanging out
- Genetic Algorithm card now properly saves increased Block value on reloads
Silent:
- Sucker Punch rarity was incorrectly Uncommon, now is Common
Necrobinder:
- Fixed Binding Chains card:
- No longer softlocks Ceremonial Beast if you apply it right before the Plow turn
- Now glows red if playing it will kill the player
Regent:
- Black Hole card's text is no longer affected by Weak
- Previewing the Pull upgrade no longer increases the amount of Block gained per star
- Previewing the Supermassive upgrade no longer decreases the number of stars it needs to gain Strength
Colorless Cards:
- Brightest Light properly saves current damage value
Enemies:
- Axe Raiders now correctly give themselves Block
- Chomper now properly indicates that it will add 3 Dazes to your discard pile instead of 6
Misc:
- A reticle should now appear on the target of most skills
- Cards should no longer get stuck when played from deck but blocked by Normality
- Energy icons now render properly when hovering an event option shows a relic hovertip
- Hand cramp no longer happens if you play a card with 10 cards in hand.
- If you obtain a common/uncommon/rare non-stackable relic from an event, you can no longer receive a duplicate later from a reward
- Neow's choice message displays correctly in the game over screen
- Tezcatara’s candlelit state is now saved correctly
