Silent

"...hunt... prove... belong..."

Key Mechanics

Sly Keyword

Sly is a new keyword unique to Silent. When a card tagged Sly is discarded from your hand, it plays automatically for free instead of going to the discard pile. This transforms discard triggers (from Acrobatics, Calculated Gamble, Tools of the Trade) into a chain of free actions. Reflex + Sly = draw 2 for free whenever you discard it. Order matters — think through your discard sequence before committing.

No Built-In Healing

Silent has 70 HP — the lowest of any character — and no healing mechanic. Every HP lost is permanent. This makes defense non-optional: Footwork, Backflip, Wraith Form, and passive Block generation are effectively your health bar. Prioritize defense in Act 1 over building your combo.

Beginner Tips

  • Start with Poison. Most forgiving — apply stacks, use Burst to multiply, let them die. Shiv and Sly require sequencing knowledge.
  • Keep deck small. 20-25 cards. Bloated decks mean inconsistent draws and delayed combos.
  • You have no healing. Defense is not optional. Survivor, Footwork, Block generation are your health bar.
  • Burst is broken with Poison multipliers. Hold Burst until you are ready to close — the combo can wipe full HP bars.
  • Afterimage is secretly a defense card. In Shiv builds, you often block more than you take damage without dedicated Block cards.
  • Sly: read your hand before discarding. The order you discard matters. Know what triggers what before committing.

Build Archetypes

Poison Stack

Apply Poison via Noxious Fumes + Deadly Poison + Envenom. Poison deals damage equal to stacks each turn then reduces by 1 — starts slow, scales exponentially. Piercing Wail strips enemy Strength to survive early. Burst doubles/triples your Poison multiplier. Most forgiving archetype due to low card dependency.

Shiv / Accuracy

Stack Accuracy (permanent Shiv damage boost per copy), then flood the board with Shivs via Blade Dance + Cloak and Dagger + Infinite Blades. Afterimage converts 0-cost Shiv spam into passive Block. Wrist Blade relic acts like a free Accuracy.

Sly / Discard

Build a hand full of Sly cards, then use discard enablers like Calculated Gamble to trigger them all for free. Acrobatics + Tools of the Trade sustain the engine. Community rates this the strongest archetype with near-unlimited scaling. Read your hand before discarding — getting the order wrong wastes free plays.
