We're back from PAX + an extended Labor Day holiday, so this week was also a bit of a shorter one. Still, this patch has a bunch of new Ironclad cards, another Knowledge Demon rework, balance changes, and new art!
CONTENT
Ironclad:
- Added new cards

BALANCE
Ironclad:
- Changed Bloodletting card: rarity decreased from Uncommon -> Common
- Changed Stampede card: rarity decreased from Rare -> Uncommon
- Changed Fight Me! card:
- Damage decreased from 20(25) -> 16(20)
- Self Strength gain decreased from 2(3) -> 1(2)
- Enemy Strength gain decreased from 2 -> 1
- Rarity decreased from Rare -> Uncommon
Defect:
- Nerfed Lightning Rod card: turns affected decreased from 2 -> 1
Necrobinder:
- Nerfed Flatten card: damage scaling decreased from 5(8) -> 3(4)
- Buffed Restrain card: upgrade damage increased from +6 -> +8
- Changed Right Hand Hand card:
- Damage increased from 5(7) -> 8(11)
- Cost increased from 0 -> 1
Potions & Relics:
- Nerfed Pulsing Core relic: turn count increased from every 3 turns -> every 4
Enemies:
- Reworked Illusion monsters like Eye With Teeth and Parafright: no longer have infinite HP, and they no longer have both the Illusion and Disrupt power. Instead, when an Illusion is "killed", it immediately revives to full HP and is stunned.
- Buffed Living Shield: Smash move damage increased from 13(15) -> 16(18)
- Buffed Queen: Strength applied to Torchhead increased from 3 -> 4
- Buffed Terror Eel: HP increased from 131(133) -> 140(150)
ART
- Added portrait art for the following Regent cards:
- Bundle of Joy
- Hegemony
- Knockout Blow
- Make It So
- Pillar of Creation
- Added beta art for various cards and relics
- Cleaned up Ironclad's Epoch art
USER INTERFACE & EXPERIENCE
- FTUE button outline now oscillates
- The Hunt card now properly shows the hovertip for Fatal
WORDING
- Event text has been updated to properly reference relics whose names have recently changed
- Updated Ambush card wording
- Invoke card has been reworded to be more consistent with other cards with dynamic energy costs
- Updated wording for Brain Leech event for clarity
- Updated a game over quote to only be for Daily Runs
BUG FIXES
General:
- Each act now properly shows its own different Rest Site visuals again
- Ambush, Frantic Escape, and Kingly Kick cards now have proper energy icons in their descriptions
- Confirm hotkey icon for FTUEs are no longer the incorrect color
- Events should no longer go into your won fights in the progress file
- Fixed being unable to open potion popup in shop
Necrobinder:
- If Invoke card is Transfigured and then Osty attacks, Invoke now properly costs 0 instead of 1
Potions & Relics:
- Foul Potion can now be thrown at Merchant via controller
- You can no longer use Lizard Tail relic to survive The Insatiable eating you
Ancients:
- Zlatir is now unlockable
Enemies:
- Fixed Soul Fysh staying invisible if it is hurt by Powdered Demise potion mid animation
Multiplayer:
- Fixed timing softlock related to Emotion Chip relic
- History Course relic no longer causes cards to get stuck on screen
- There is now more robust error handling around joining a game
