CONTENT
Potions & Relics:
- Added Illusory Wall relic
Ancients:
- Tanx's Apex blessing now gives you its associated Apex Instinct relic
General:
- In runs where Neow appears, you start with 1 HP and heal at Neow
- Map drawings are now saved into the save file
- You can now erase parts of your drawings
BALANCE
Ancients:
- Choice's Paradox nerfed. Cards viewed from 10 -> 5
Enemies:
- Nerfed Corpse Slugs: no longer have multihit attacks
- Changed Phantasmal Gardeners: initial moves changed to be all unique
- Buffed Soul Fysh: HP increased from 144(155) -> 181(191)
- Changed Waterfall Giant:
- Now has a fixed moveset
- No longer incorrectly scales
- Steam Eruption starting amount increased from 6 -> 7
- Buffed Mad Crab:
- Dazed cards given increased from 2 -> 4
- Smash damage increased from 12(13) -> 13(14)
Events:
- Buffed Abyssal Baths event: HP loss range decreased from 3-7 -> 2-6
- Nerfed Orb Glutton event: "Smash the Slugs" choice energy gain decreased from 2 -> 1
- Changed The Drowning Beacon event:
- "Drink from the tide pool" choice now costs current HP instead of max HP
- Waterlogged curse card now costs 1 energy and is Eternal
Multiplayer:
- In multiplayer, every map has one less node (We're especially looking for playtester feedback on this one!)
ART
- Added light VFX to layer 1 of Underdocks' combat background
- Added Toadpole animations
USER INTERFACE & EXPERIENCE
Enemies:
- Hardened Shell power now counts down to show how much damage is left to be dealt
- In power descriptions, replaced "this creature" with the creature's actual name
- Test Subject now gets bigger as he respawns
Ancients:
- Updated Ancient card banner and text box
General:
- Any Epochs you discover can now be revealed in the Timeline for free
- Epochs are no longer represented as drawn cards in the Timeline screen
- Undiscovered Epochs now have a blurry preview in the Timeline
- Added enchantment icon next to card entry in deck history
- Added heal VFX when you're healed at an event (or Ancient)
- Made changes to multi-card play UX
- Created a schema to show how to obtain epochs when you hover over their slot
- Enchantment tab is now scooted up if there is no star cost
- Enchantments that are used up now appear disabled
- Feedback screen now only clears when you submit feedback, not when it closes
- Give Up is now disabled if the climb is already over
- Room where a specific relic was received is now highlighted when hovering over said relic in Run History
- If a player obtains multiple epochs, they are now staggered by 3 seconds each
- Moved the card reward row down very slightly and increased the period when they're unselectable from 0.2 seconds to 0.35 seconds so that it's less likely for players to rapidly click on reward buttons and pick a card on accident
- Removed epoch titles from the cards when obtaining them
- Updated map drawing colors for all characters
- When peeking from a hand selection (ex. Decisions, Decisions card) your whole hand is now visible again
- When using the search bar in the card library, it no longer shows all pools
AUDIO
- Added new SFX and background music for The Insatiable
WORDING
- Byrdonis Egg event has been renamed to Byrdonis Nest
BUG FIXES
Ironclad:
- Choosing a Bound card to upgrade as a target for Armaments no longer softlocks the game after ending turn
Necrobinder:
- Doom no longer shrinks monster size if the monster grew
Regent:
- Fixed softlock when playing GUARDS!!! card
Potions & Relics:
- Beetle Juice potion now accounts for any other scale modification made to the monster
Ancients:
- Tezcatara's Ember blessing now properly shows up in event room hovertips
Enemies:
- Fixed Phantasmal Gardeners so that their HP is now ranged from 28(29)-32(33) instead of incorrectly either 28/29 or 32/33
- Enemies that start combat with debuffs (ex. Slow) no longer shake when the room starts
- Fixed typo in Hardened Shell power description
- Disrupt power now only resets from 0 at the start of the player turn
- Tough Eggs in Ovicopter fight no longer appear offscreen
Events:
- Waterlogged Scriptorium's "Prickly Sponge" choice is now locked if you don't have enough gold
General:
- Players can now hover over history nodes in game over screen
- End Turn button now shows the turn number on turn 1
- Fixed issue where clicking too fast in Epoch unlock screens causing weirdness and overlaps
- Fixed card grid overlapping with scrollbar at certain aspect ratios
- The VFX for when a power wears off no longer appears when you hard close the application mid-combat
- When in fullscreen, the edge of the window is now clickable
- Fixed issue where clicking the Close button twice in Unlock screens would cause weirdness
Multiplayer:
- Ancient room is now only saved after all players have picked a blessing option (Previously, the room would be saved as soon as the host picked an
- Confused debuff no longer applies to all players in MP
- Reduced the chances of seeing duplicate relics at the treasure room screen
