BALANCE

Ironclad:

  • Nerfed Bully card: scaling damage decreased from 2(3) -> 1(2)
  • Nerfed Dismantle card: upgrade damage decreased from 4 -> 3
  • Changed Dominate card:
- Cost increased from 1 -> 2

- Upgrade changed from deal damage to all enemies -> decrease cost by 1

  • Changed Fight Me card: upgrade now also increases player Strength gain by 1
  • Changed Limit Break card: rarity changed from Rare -> Ancient
  • Changed Molten Fist card: now Exhausts
  • Changed Ashen Strike card: now highlights the correct number in green when you have Strength
  • Changed Shockwave card: is now Colorless

Silent:

  • Changed Accelerant card: rarity increased from Uncommon -> Rare
  • Nerfed Delay card:
- Block decreased from 11(15) Block -> 11(13)

- Energy decreased from 2(2) -> 1(2)

  • Buffed Fan Of Knives card: Shivs increased from 3(4) -> 4(5)

Regent:

  • Nerfed Descisions, Descisions card:
- Card draw decreased from 5 -> 3(5)

- Repeated play amount decreased from 3(4) -> 3

  • Changed GUARDS!! card:
- No longer transforms entire hand, but allows you to select which cards are transformed

- Minion Sacrifice card’s Block slightly nerfed as a result: Block decreased from 13(17) -> 11(14)

  • Nerfed Heirloom Hammer card: upgrade damage decreased from +6 -> +4
  • Changed Neutron Aegis card: Energy cost increased from 0 -> 1 (in addition to Star cost)
  • Buffed Perfect Reflection card: Block increased from 8(11) -> 9(12)
  • Nerfed Quasar card: no longer sets the created cards’ cost to 0
  • Changed Shiny Strike card: upgrade now decreases the cost of 1 -> 2 colorless cards

Colorless Cards:

  • Changed Bolas card: rarity increased from Uncommon -> Rare
  • Changed Mayhem card:
- Rarity increased from Uncommon -> Rare

- Now triggers before card draw

  • Buffed Mind Blast card: cost decreased from 2(1) -> 1(0)
  • Buffed Thrumming Hatchet card:
- Damage increased by 1

- Rarity decreased from Rare -> Uncommon

  • Buffed Ultimate Strike card: damage increased from 12 -> 14
  • Changed Enlightenment card: now Exhausts
  • Changed Fasten card: upgrade Block decreased from +3 -> +2
  • Changed Hand Trick card: upgrade Block increased from +2 -> +3
  • Changed Restlessness card: rarity decreased from Rare -> Uncommon

Potions & Relics:

  • Changed Hungering Portrait relic: now triggers before you draw your hand on your turn
  • Changed Kunai relic: rarity increased from Uncommon -> Rare
  • Changed Shuriken relic: rarity increased from Uncommon -> Rare
  • Changed Prismatic Shard relic: no longer gives Colorless cards
  • Buffed Screaming Flagon relic: Strength gain increased from 1 -> 2

Enemies:

  • Enemies with Plating like Frog Knight now start with Block equal to their plating, similar to Slumbering Beetle
  • Nerfed Axebots: Strength gain decreased from 5 -> 4
  • Changed Bowlbugs:
- No longer apply Frail

- Silk Bowlbug now applies 1 Weak

- Egg Bowlbug no longer applies debuffs, but attacks and gains Block

  • Buffed Fogmog: increased HP
  • Changed Fuzzy Wurm Crawler: HP ascension modifier lowered from +5 -> +2
  • Changed Inklet: changed moveset so fight is now less random
  • Changed Magi Knight: changed moveset
  • Changed Myte:
- Changed moveset

- Strength gain decreased from 5 -> 3(4)

  • Changed Swarm of Slimes encounter: now has one less small Slime

Ancients:

  • Changed Zlatir’s Ruby Earrings blessing: “All combat card rewards contain one card of each Rarity”

Events:

  • Changed Battleworn Dummy event: no longer appears in multiplayer
  • Changed Tinker Time event: Mad Science card default cost increased from 1 -> 2; base damage and block values are changed accordingly

ART

  • Added beta portrait art for many cards
  • Added portrait art for the Regent cards: Beat into Shape, Guiding Star, Shiny Strike, Spoils of Battle, and re-added Decree of Unmaking
  • Made Burrowing Bug’s chomp animation snappier
  • Cleaned up Spiny Toad’s lick animation
  • Added projectile to Myte’s toxic attack
  • Made Kin Priest’s grenade explosion bigger

USER INTERFACE & EXPERIENCE

  • Adjusted relic size in top bar and on merchant shop screen
  • Begone card no longer shows a misleading Transform hovertip
  • Other players' HP and powers are now displayed when hovered over in multiplayer
  • Lethality power no longer flashes when it increases damage
  • Made hand card counter label larger
  • Multiplayer player display shows your local player too
  • Incomplete room history in map no longer shows when still on that node
  • Parry card now includes a hovertip for the Forge keyword
  • Restlessness card now glows gold if it is the only card in your hand
  • When showing card removal screen, only curses are moved to the top, the order of everything else is preserved
  • You can now see other players' energy and card count in multiplayer
- Improved map algorithm legibility

WORDING

  • Added a missing comma to Dodge and Roll card's description
  • Aggression card now specifies that the upgrade lasts for the rest of combat
  • Fixed some whitespace and coloring issues in Lethality power's hovertip
  • Glass Knife card’s wording has been tweaked to be more consistent with other effects that modify a card's damage
  • Lethality power's hovertip coloring has been fixed
  • Tinker Time event's Speed option now properly mentions that it adds Innate if you're creating a power card

BUG FIXES

Ironclad:

  • Breakthrough card attack animation no longer plays if the player is dead
  • Viewing an upgrade preview of Primal Force+ card in the deck view now properly shows a hovertip for Giant Rock+ card

Regent:

  • Kingly Punch's damage increase is no longer reset when the card is downgraded

Colorless Cards:

  • Mind Blast is now properly marked as an Uncommon colorless card instead of an Event card

Potions & Relics:

  • Darleejing Tea relic no longer shows an Energy hovertip
  • Ghost Seed relic now works properly between save/reload
  • Hungering Belly and Severed Gill relics now appear in the Relic Collection screen
  • Starter Flare relic no longer triggers before Slumbering Beetle gains block

Enemies:

  • Cubex Construct charging SFX no longer loops forever if it is killed by Guillotine
  • Quitting during the Soul Nexus fight no longer softlocks the next session

Ancients:

  • Fixed Orobas’ Discovery relic loc in run history
  • Fixed typo in Orobas’ name
  • Selecting Orobas’ Transcend blessing now maintains the card's upgrade state
  • Neow’s Silver Crucible relic no longer goes into the negatives

Ascension:

  • Players can no longer break ascension limit by swapping characters in the character select screen

Multiplayer:

  • Backing out of a multiplayer lobby while locked in, then going back into a lobby, no longer locks you out of selecting another character
  • Fixed weird spacing in remote player indicator when rejoining lobby
  • Fixed a multiplayer divergence related to Poison and reward timing
  • Fixed multiplayer state divergence caused by The Trial event
  • Forgotten Ritual card only counts cards exhausted by you in multiplayer
  • Fixed hitbox for Regent’s top right constellation hover effect in multiplayer screen
  • Decree of Stasis card now only applies to player who owns it
  • Seal of Gold relic no longer prevents other players from gaining gold
  • Supermassive card no longer counts cards created by other players
  • Unrelenting card's "next attack is free" effect now only applies to the player who played it
  • Joining/quitting/joining an MP game should no longer result in an immediate divergence
  • Players display fades out when opening settings and compendium in multiplayer
  • Multiplayer combat no longer pauses if one player is looking at their deck
  • Fixed multiplayer save/load
  • Playing Survivor card no longer cancels card drag for other players
  • Reattach and Adaptable powers now scale with players in multiplayer
  • Remote player's Osty's healthbar no longer reappears when it revives
  • Sneaky Strike card only counts cards discarded by player who owns it
  • Spoils Map now marks the same map point for everyone
  • Stone of All Time and Future of Potions events no longer break multiplayer
  • The Trial event portrait no longer switches when remote players choose an option

Misc:

  • Fixed boss map node from always being hoverable
  • Fixed targeting issue when switching between two enemies
  • Ironclad button cannot be reclicked on when opening up main menu for the first time
  • Patch notes typo fixed
  • Duplicate potions can no longer appear in shop
