CONTENT

BALANCE

Ironclad:

  • Buffed Dominate card: cost decreased from 2 -> 1
  • Nerfed Veteran card: Strength gain decreased fromv 4(6) -> 3(5)
  • Buffed Winged Jump card: Block increased from 10(13) -> 11(15)

Silent:

  • Buffed Accelerant card: cost decreased from 2 -> 1
  • Reworked Assassinate card: “Innate. Deal 10(13) damage. Apply 1(2) Vulnerable. Exhaust.”
  • Changed Catalyst card: upgrade changed from triple poison -> reduce energy cost by 1

Necrobinder:

  • Nerfed Blight Strike card: damage decreased from 7(11) -> 7(9)
  • Nerfed Bone Shards card: damage decreased from 30(40) -> 20(25)
  • Buffed Capture Spirit card: now adds Upgraded Souls to your Draw Pile instead of regular ones
  • Changed Carve Ghost card: now adds Souls to your Hand instead of your Discard Pile, and its damage has been reduced from 9(11) to 8(9)
  • Nerfed Drain Power card: damage decreased from 9(12) -> 9(11)
  • Reworked Eidolon: prevents all HP loss until next turn -> grants 1 Intangible
  • Buffed Eradicate card: now has Retain

  • Changed Zlatir choices:
- Folly card is now unplayable

- Zlatir's Cape relic now grants +3 card draw rather than drawing entire hand

- Zlatir's Freedom choice is now: “Add 1 of 33 cards to your deck.”

- Zlatir's Immortality choice is now: “Lose 15% max HP. Gain 2 intangible at the start of combat.”

  • Reworked Neow’s bundles: now offers 2 of 5 preset bundles
  • Nerfed Tanx's Might: Strength granted decreased from 3 -> 2

Enemies:

  • Changed Axebot:
- Hammer uppercut damage decreased from 13(16) -> 12(14)

- One-Two damage increased from 6(7)x2 -> 8(9)x2

- Only stocked Axebots do Boot Up as their first move now

  • Nerfed Fabricator:
- All bots' health decreased by 5 HP

- Guardbot now gives Block only to its allies, not itself

  • Changed Ceremonial Beast:
- Number of Dazed cards given by Plow increased from 3 -> 4

- Butt no longer gives Frail

  • Changed Entomancer:
- Now starts with 1 Personal Hive

- Pheremone Spit move now adds 1 Personal Hive, up to a max of 3

- Pheremone Spit move now adds 1 strength until Personal Hive is at 3; afterwards, it adds 2 Strength

  • Changed Fogmog:
- Swipe move now also grants itself 1 Strength

- Fogmog can now randomly decide to Swipe twice in a row before Headbutting

  • Changed Hunter Killer:
- Now applies 1 Tender instead of 4 Weak

- Tender: “Whenever you play a card, lose 1 Strength and 1 Dexterity that turn.”

  • Changed The Insatiable: Thrash move damage changed from 6(7)x3 -> 8(9)x2
  • Changed Ovicopter encounter:
- Bite damage decreased from 19(21) -> 17(19)

- Nibble damage decreased from 7(8) -> 6(7)

- Munch damage decreased from 10(12) -> 8(9)

- Chomp damage decreased from 14(16) -> 11(12)

- Tough Egg HP lowered from 23(24)-29 -> 14(15)-19(20)

- Hatchling HP lowered from 26(28)-34(36) -> 21(22)-26(27)

- Workbug Egg Hatchling merged with Ovicopter hatchling

- Hatchling now starts with a random move

  • ChangedRock Bowlbug: Momentum move Strength gain decreased from 4 -> and deals 14(15) damage
  • Changed Ruby Raiders encounter:
- Now only one Brute can spawn

- Brute gains 2 Strength instead of giving Dazed status cards

  • Nerfed Shrinker Beetle: Stomp move damage decreased from 16(18) -> 14(17)
  • Buffed Slumbering Beetle: starting Slumber decreased from 3 -> 2
  • Changed Soul Nexus:
- HP increased from 199(209) -> 234(246)

- Soul Burn move now used only 3 times max in a fight

  • Changed Spiny Toad:
- Explosion move damage decreased from 5(6)x5 -> 4(5)x5

- Lash move now applies -1 Dexterity instead of Weak

  • Changed Swarm of Slimes encounter: now always has one M twig slime, one M leaf slime, two of the same small slime, and one other small slime
  • Changed Test Subject: now adds cards to Draw Pile instead of hand
  • Changed Turret Operator encounter:
- Turret Operator now fires twice, then gains 1 Strength

- Living Shield HP decreased from 70(90) -> 55(65)

- Living Shield damage decreased from 15(17) -> 6

- Living Shield now gains 6 Block every turn

  • Changed Vantom:
- Wound cards given increased from 2 -> 3

- Inky Lance damage decreased from 7(8)x2 -> 6(7)x2

- Prepare move’s Strength gain decreased from 3 -> 2

  • Nerfed Burrowing Bug: Bite move damage decreased from 13(22) -> 13(15)

Events:

  • Reworked Brainbug event:
- “Share Knowledge” choice now costs 11 HP

- “Filter the Stream” choice changed to “Choose 1 of 10 cards”

  • Buffed Buried Seed event relic: duration increased from 6 -> 8 combats
  • Reworked Dense Vegetation event:
- Deprecated “Make a Bracelet” choice

- “Nap” choice’s Wrigglers increased from 3 -> 4

  • Changed Field of the Forgotten event: “Consume” choice now costs 13 HP
  • Changed Hungry for Mushrooms event: “Big Guy” choice max HP gain decreased from 50% -> 25%
  • Changed Living Cocoon event: “Step Inside” choice changed to heal 20 HP and give Metamorphosis
  • Changed Perilous Prospects event: “Decipher” choice now starts at 3 max HP loss
  • Changed Room Full of Cheese event: “Search” choice now costs 14 HP
  • Changed Stone of All Time event: “Drink” and “Lift” choices max HP gain decreased from 10 -> 8
  • Changed Symbiote event: “Kill with Fire” choice now damages you for 6 HP with no other effect
  • Reworked Tea Master event: now has static choices and costs gold
  • Changed Telepathic Spiders event: “Know Yourself” choice cost increased from 150 -> 250
  • Reworked the Legends Were True event
  • Changed Wellspring event: deprecated “Bottle” choice
  • Changed Welcome to Wongo’s event: “Mystery Box” choice’s relics decreased from 3 -> 2 relics

Misc:

  • Changed Ascension 1: Burly enemies deal 25% more damage -> have 25% more HP

ART

Necrobinder:

  • Osty's body now remains in combat after dying, and plays a revive animation when re-summoned

Enemies:

  • Fixed some blending issues with Vine Shambler
  • Fixed Hunter Killer animation transitions
  • Tweaked Byrdonis’ buff asset
  • Cleaned up Ovicopter’s animation
  • Cleaned up Tough Egg’s animation
  • Updated Fuzzy Wurm Crawler art
  • Updated to Soul Nexus art

Misc:

  • Added new buttons for Character Select screen
  • Adjusted Silent and Necrobinder’s Character Select art
  • Debuff animation now returns to idle loop smoothly
  • Updated some card beta art

USER INTERFACE & EXPERIENCE

Necrobinder:

  • Make Use card now displays the Summon hovertip
  • Nine Lives card now includes the Summon amount in its Summon hovertip

Potions & Relics:

  • Art of War relic now never looks disabled
  • Stone Calendar relic now resets to normal state after combat

Ancients:

  • Added tracking relic for Tanx's Forgotten Technique option
  • Added tracking relic for Tezcatara's Ember option

Misc:

  • Card rewards now appear before relic rewards.
  • Hue and scale of duplicate creatures in the same encounter are now slightly randomized
  • Low HP vignette no longer stacks on top of itself during multihits.
  • When hovering over a card in the compendium, it now renders above all other cards
  • You can now open the compendium via a button in the topbar

WORDING

Necrobinder:

  • Countdown card's power description now properly says that it applies Doom at the start of your turn instead of the end
  • Sacrifice card now specifies that it only works if Osty is alive
  • The wording of the Summon keyword hovertip has been tweaked

Regent:

  • An accidental double-space in Spectrum Shift card's description has been fixed

Events:

  • The word "A" removed from "A Buried Seed" event title
  • Colorful Philosophers event now names characters instead of colors.

Misc:

  • Descriptions on some powers have been cleaned up.
  • Fixed an extra newline that would appear before an Enchantment's text on some enchanted cards
  • Scrutiny debuff now has gold Exhaust and Exhaust hovertip

BUG FIXES

Ironclad:

  • Taunt card can no longer target dead Decemillipede segment
  • Taunt card’s Vulnerable is now affected by Dybbuk Cube relic

Necrobinder:

  • Can no longer see hovertips for enemies that die to Doom
  • Damage amounts on Osty attack cards no longer reflect Necrobinder's Strength when Osty is dead
  • Fixed an issue where playing Bury+ followed by Bury was not dealing the correct amount of damage on the next turn
  • You Are Mine! card can no longer be generated from potions

Potions & Relics:

  • Egg relics now flash over all affected merchant cards, not just the last one
  • Fixed an issue where Potion rewards only had a 15% chance of being uncommon instead of the intended 25%
  • Toothpick relic now applies after all other damage modifiers (except Pen Nib)
  • Vambrace relic no longer flashes while out of combat

Ancients:

  • Tyranny, Call of the Void, and other start-of-turn card generation effects are no longer blocked by Zlatir's Cape

Enemies:

  • Fix misaligned Block indicator when hitting the Test Subject many times in sequence
  • Insect Repulsor now correctly performs its flip move when Powdered Demise makes it cross the damage threshold

Events:

  • Bedlam Beacon event description now correctly notes when it triggers
  • Fixed Future of Potions event causing a softlock when you win/lose a run
  • Future of Potions event now has a run history tooltip

Misc:

  • Cancelling card play while targeting a creature resets the card preview values
  • Card choice in run history is accurate when you have Grasping Tentacle
  • Clicking on an event option before it is fully animated in no longer focuses it
  • Consecutive rest sites will no longer appear on the map
  • Damage numbers now display total damage dealt including overkill damage
  • Getlogs command no longer softlocks combats
  • Hovered hand no longer resets position if a prequeued card starts playing
  • Imbued enchantment now applies after card draw, and only applies to skills
  • Merchant removal coin doesn't flicker if you hover its left side.
  • Panning with a trackpad on MacOS now goes in the correct direction based on your system settings
  • Quitting after receiving rewards from an Ancient now saves the rewards
  • Rest site heal SFX now set to correct volume
  • Saving/loading twice at rewards no longer restarts combat
  • The deck view is no longer bugged when it contains an enchanted card afflicted with Bound
  • You can no longer select other rest site options during the rest VFX
