CONTENT

General:

  • Added Ascensions 1-6
  • Ascension 1 - Burly Enemies

BALANCE

Events:

  • Buffed Sunken Statue event’s “Dive into water” choice: gold gain increased from 75 -> 111
  • Buffed Infested Automation event’s “Touch core” choice: now transform a card of your choice rather than a random one + no longer has an HP penalty
  • Changed Living Cocoon event: no longer has a choice to transform a card, now removes a card instead
  • Changed A Buried Seed event:
  • Sown enchantment now takes more combats to sprout, increased from 4 -> 6
  • Buried seed relic now lasts for more combats, increased from 4 -> 6
  • Buffed Bedlam Beacon event’s “Claim the orb” choice: max HP lost decreased from 20 -> 11

ART

  • Added Entomancer bug swarm VFX assets
  • Cleaned up Byrdonis, Ruby Assassin, and Ruby Raider Brute animations
  • Added Ceremonial Beast custom BG animations
  • Recolored Card Removal token at shop
  • Set up Slimed Berserker goo VFX
  • Updated fire VFX in Glory combat BG
  • Updated art for various Silent card portraits
  • Updated Neow's background
  • Added new card Exhaust VFX
  • Added explosion VFX to Explosive Potion, The Bomb power
  • Added green smoke puff VFX to Poison Potion, Deadly Poison, and Noxious Fumes
  • Added purple version of smoke puff VFX onto Crippling Cloud card
  • Added Smoke explosion VFX to Combust power
  • Added new line burst VFX for Ceremonial Beast’s Plow move
  • Made Wellspring event fog VFX more transparent (temp before better fix)
  • Made rain VFX thinner in Slippery Bridge event

USER INTERFACE & EXPERIENCE

  • Game Over stinger now fades out when proceeding to the Main Menu early
  • Added a map prompt in the map room
  • Adjusted map point outline color, slightly increased map circle VFX size, and removed map line bounds
  • Continue Run info now includes run’s Ascension level
  • Enemies now wiggle when they are debuffed
  • Cards now exhaust faster
  • Poison procs faster
  • Horned Cleat relic now grays out once it is used in combat
  • If you've played multiple copies of Crimson Mantle in the same turn, its hovertip now properly reflects the amount of HP you'll lose
  • The Crimson Mantle power's hovertip now properly reads "At the start of your turn" instead of "At the end of your turn"
  • Made a UX pass for Powers under healthbars
  • Updated Quest card frame so description text fits better

WORDING

  • Cleaned up Medicinal Pouch's description
  • The wording on Conflagration, Crescent Spear, and Perfected Strike has been changed to make it clearer when they'll deal more damage than their base damage values
  • Updated the Weak Power title: Weakened -> Weak

BUG FIXES

Ironclad:

  • Bully card description now dynamically updates damage when hovering over Vulnerable enemies
  • Fixed softlock when One, Two Punch + Bolas card kills a creature
  • Fixed Stampede upgraded description
  • Fixed Conflagration dynamic vars

Silent:

  • Pounce card no longer makes Tactician show a cost

Regent:

  • Minion Guard card upgrade preview no longer grabs the Block value from the previous combat
  • Pale Blue Dot card is no longer Innate

Potions & Relics:

  • Gambling Chip now procs correctly again
  • Relics that increase your energy every turn now properly update the denominator in your energy counter

Colorless Cards:

  • Fixed Debilitating Pox and Panic Button cards

Ancients:

  • Neow's Apothecary choice now properly gives you the Medicinal Pouch relic

Events:

  • Tea Master now only offers 3 options again
  • The Legends Were True event choice now disallows curses and unremovable cards

Misc:

  • Attempted to fix map_monster_outline not found issue
  • Disallowed applying Soul enchantment to cards that lose Exhaust when upgraded
  • Fixed unusual aspect ratios causing UI problems on startup for Macs
